Brand new Women’s Champion Victoria McGill headlined Missouri Valley Wrestling’s house show in Atchison, Kansas as MVW returned from a one-month summer break. The show featured matches in the Women’s, Women’s Tag Team, and the Men’s and Women’s Heartland division as well as non-title matches involving Men’s Tag Team Champions The Stevens Dynasty, Men’s Heartland Champion Ricky Stevens, and Women’s Heartland Champion ‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin.
Friday July 29th, 2022- Ralph Nolan Gymnasium / Atchison, KS
Victoria McGill appeared at the start of the show with her MVW Women’s title belt she’d won last month around her waist. Tori thanked former champion Shizuko Yamazaki for being a great champion and then the MVW fans for being behind her once she broke away from Jill Berg Enterprises. She says she’d rather be the ‘Face of MVW’s Women’s division’ than the ‘Face of Jill Berg Enterprises.’. Tori knows that by weekend’s end, she will know who her first title defense will be against in two weeks at the Knapp Center in Des Moines. She promises no matter who it is, she’ll be ready to go.
#3 vs. #4 vs. #5 WOMEN’S HEARTLAND: #3 Libertie Bell defeated #4 Ninja Kitty and #5 ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot
-Three way elimination match. Bell eliminates Ninja Kitty first and easily gets past Harlot to move on to face ‘Precious’ Patty McBride in Coffeyville, Kansas tonight in a #2 vs. #3 match. Bell retains the #3 ranking. Harlot moves up to #4. Ninja Kitty drops to #5.
Post match, Eva Perrin comes out to taunt Harlot. It’s been one month after Perrin defeated her arch-rival at Wrestling Night in the Heartland and the feud shows no sign of letting up.
#3 vs. #4 vs. #5 MEN’S HEARTLAND: #5 Stan defeated #3 Ken Kardoucheian and #4 Average Joe
-Stan was recently featured on HOTv along with the rest of the Beer Bellied Softball Playin’ Ninja working out with HOW’s Xander Azula. The training must have worked as he came away the victor in this three-way elimination match. Stan eliminates Average Joe first and then the former Men’s Heartland Ken Kardoucheian to move up to #3 in the rankings. Kardoucheian falls to #4; Average Joe to #5.
Stan’s next opponent will be #2 ‘Big Don’ Dickinson tonight in Coffeyville, Kansas.
#3 vs. #4 vs. #5 WOMEN’S TAG TEAM: #3 The Rose Warriors (Geena the Warrior Princess/Eliza Rose) defeated #4 The Pinups (Sabrina James/Alicia Rowe) and #5 Bethany Stewart/Shelley Briscoe
-Geena and Rose maintain their #3 ranking, holding off the former two-time Women’s tag team champions James and Rowe and Stewart and Briscoe. Stewart and Briscoe were eliminated first, then the Pinups.
The Rose Warriors go on to meet Jill Berg Enterprises tonight in a #2 vs. #3 match.
#3 vs. #4 WOMEN’S DIVISION: #3 Debbie the Destroyer defeated #4 Kirsten Canfield
-Match of the night. A well-rested Canfield’s plan was simple- hit and run against the bigger and stronger Debbie the Destroyer. Debbie edged it early on. Canfield took charge and tried to set Debbie up for her Wheatshocker Deluxe. Both women then closed in a wild back and forth finish that finally saw Debbie hit the Destroyer Bomb on an exhausted Canfield at 16:40 of the match to pick up the win and hold on to her #3 ranking in the Women’s Division.
Debbie the Destroyer’s reward is a #2 vs. #3 match tonight against Jill Berg Enterprises’ Lisa Barbosa-Stevens.
Lisa came out with Jill Berg Enterprises after the match to congratulate Debbie on the win. But she tells her enjoy it because Saturday night in Coffeyville, Kansas will be a big night for JBE. Lisa will take a step closer to regaining the Women’s title as per the business plan put forth by JBE CEO Jill Berg. Sheline Carrigan and Prisoner #034291will take care of the Rose Warriors. The gold will be coming soon to Jill Berg Enterprises.
