Missouri Valley Wrestling’s Carmondy Cup tournament resumed this weekend with third-round matches in the Men’s and Women’s Tournament and second-round action in the Men’s and Women’s Tag Team Tournament.
Saturday September 24th / MVW Television Studio / St. Louis, Missouri
WOMEN’S TAG TEAM 2nd ROUND:
Svetlana Kovaleski/Kay Daniels defeated The Gilmour Girls (Kathryn Gilmour and Katie Gilmour)
-Kovaleski and Daniels have little trouble with the chatty Gilmour Girls.
Angels of Death (Angel Scott/Angel Casey) defeated Georgia Sullivan/Roxie O’Connell
–Then Angels of Death marked their pseudo-return to MVW by struggling early on with ring rust before they kicked it up a notch and took out Sullivan and O’Connell.
Kovaleski and Daniels, Angels of Death both go into the hat for the third round.
WOMEN’S 3RD ROUND:
Madison Carter defeated Savannah Smith
-Carter defeats the student from Joe Bergman’s Barn and looks impressive in doing so.
Jennelle Jenkins defeated Tasha Farris
-Jenkins and Farris went at it hard and Jennelle pulls out the tough win.
Carter and Jenkins go into the hat for round four.

MEN’S TAG TEAM 2nd ROUND:
Georgia-Florida State Boundary (Bryan and Skyler) defeated Hoss Taylor and Frank Scott
-Reunited with Lillie Mae, the Georgia-Florida State Boundary start their farewell tour with a win over Taylor and Scott- two more students from Joe Bergman’s Barn.
The Alabama Gang (Mark Hendry/R.G. Jenkins) defeated The Goatbusters (Peter Jenkman/Ray Scantz)
-The Alabama Gang just destroy the Goatbusters.
The Georgia-Florida State Boundary and The Alabama Gang go into the hat for round three.
MEN’S 3rd ROUND:
‘The New Age Cybertronic Criminally Insane Rogue Sentient Robot Wrestling Machine’ Ultratron-6.1 defeated Cale McPherson
-Bergman’s Barn Men’s Champion Cale McPherson puts in a good shift but Ultratron-6.1 was too much.
‘No Frills’ Chris Escondido defeated Mr. Wrestling XXXIV
-Escondido had little trouble getting past Mr. Wrestling XXXIV.
Ultratron-6.1 and Escondido will go into the hat.
After the final Sunday match between Escondido and Mr. Wrestling XXXIV ended around noon CST, Ray McAvay came out with the hat and eight balls to draw for the fourth round. Wrestlers in the hat for the fourth round of the Men’s Carmondy Cup included the two survivors from Round three…

Buoyed by the addition of a HOTv Tag Team title match to the card, over ten thousand Missouri Valley Wrestling fans packed the Indiana Farmers Coliseum last night in Indianapolis, Indiana for MVW’s Heartland Pay Per View Show.
The HOTv Tag Team title match between the Highwaymen and The Egg Bandits was simulcasted on High Octane Wrestling’s Chaos 10 show.
Twelve matches in all were on the card and the results were as follows:
GRUDGE REMATCH: ‘Queen of the Trailer Park’ Lani Harlot defeated Eva Perrin
-In the latest installment of the ongoing feud between Eva Perrin and Lani Harlot, The Queen of the Trailer Park gets a little payback on Eva for recent results. Perrin set up for The Overthrow. Harlot pulled out a chain and blasted Eva with it to get the controversial win.
But it’s not over yet between these two. MVW Owner Ray McAvay drew both Perrin and Harlot’s names out of the hat and they will meet again in the fourth round of the Carmondy Cup.
#2 vs. #3 WOMEN’S TAG TEAM:
#2 The Hanson Sisters (Andrea and Melissa Hanson) defeated #3 The Working Girls (C.J. Lewis/’Queen Cool’ Leah Iris}
-The Hansons again defeat the Working Girls to solidify their hold on the #2 ranking.
SPECIAL ATTRACTION MATCH FOR THE HOTv TAG TEAM TITLE:
-MATCH #3 IN A BEST OF 5 SERIES (The Egg Bandits lead 2-0)

-The Bandits dominated most of the way until fellow Highwayman Clay Byrd shocked the crowd by suddenly appearing and taking out all three Bandits with steel chair shots. Bergman then rolled over and made the cover to make it 2-1 Egg Bandits.
#2 vs. #3 WOMEN’S DIVISION:
#3 Kirsten Canfield defeated #2 Shizuko Yamazaki
–Canfield again puts herself in title contention after her big win over Shizuko Yamazaki.
#2 vs. #3 MEN’S TAG TEAM:
#3 The Kardoucheian Empire (Koley and Kourtney) defeated #2 Main Street USA (Mac Sherrill/Jake Ralston)
-The Kardoucheians claw past Main Street USA to move back to #2 in the Men’s Tag Team Contender rankings.
#2 vs. #3 MEN’S DIVISION:
#2 John O’Reilly defeated #3 Ricky Stevens.
-O’Reilly’s vaunted Cannonball Right Hand again is the difference maker.
WOMEN’S HEARTLAND TITLE:
‘Extreme Pizza Delivery Girl’ Tessa Martin © defeated Yosemite Samantha
-Yosemite Samantha chased Tess all over the ring until she finally walked into the Pizza Cutter. Tessa retained the title again to extend her title reign that’s nearing five months.
MEN’S HEARTLAND TITLE:
‘The Demi-God of HOW’ Scott Stevens © vs. J.J. Bittinger
-In a match taped before the show because Stevens needed to be in Cleveland for High Octane Wrestling’s Chaos 10 show, Stevens found himself in a dogfight with Bittinger until the end when he strung together a series of moves that ended with the Toxic Sting. ‘The Demi-God of HOW’ will continue his title run.
WOMEN’S TAG TEAM TITLE:
Jill Berg Enterprises (‘Canadian Cyborg’ Sheline Carrigan/Prisoner #034291) © defeated The Missouri Valley Fight Club (Harley Davisson/Carrieanne McDermott)
-Carrigan and Prisoner #034291 outlasted the MVFC in a match that nearly hit twenty minutes. Carrigan’s Canadian Destroyer finished off McDermott and the Women’s Tag Team title stayed with Jill Berg Enterprises.
MEN’S TAG TEAM TITLE:
The Stevens Dynasty (Bo and George) © defeated The Kentucky Redneck Mafia (Cletus T. Johnson/Enos T. Johnson)
-This one was headed towards a classic until Enos T. Johnson injured his leg. With Enos stretchered out, Cletus did his best but Bo and George wore him down and eventually out.
WOMEN’S TITLE:
Victoria McGill © vs. Lisa Barbosa-Stevens
-Tori’s simply an unstoppable force right now. Barbosa-Stevens had no answer for anything the Women’s champion did. Jill Berg Enterprises CEO Jill Berg looked on disapprovingly following the match.
MEN’S TITLE
‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson © vs. Captain Jack
-Dickinson crushed Captain Jack with the Southern Fried Powerbomb to retain the Men’s Title.
