OPENING
Thunderbolt hopes everyone had a great Thanksgiving and welcomes everyone to tonight’s edition of Wrestling Night in the Heartland.  We are live from the Peoria Civic Center in Peoria, Illinois with a big show in store for everyone.

Two title matches…

Also two #1 contenders’ matches on the card…

Rick Hall previews tonight’s matches.

#1 CONTENDER’S MATCH-WOMEN’S TAG TEAM: #1 The Missouri Valley Fight Club (Harley Davisson/Carrieanne McDermott) vs. #2 The Rose Warriors (Geena the Warrior Princess/Eliza Rose)

Rick Hall’s Preview:
-The Missouri Valley Fight Club know what they need to do.  They already have one title match lined up at Evening of Champions.  A win here would guarantee them another title match in early 2023 if the MVFC don’t win at Evening of Champions.
-The Rose Warriors have also been in this position before.  They continue to confound the ‘experts’ by continuing to be a major factor in the Women’s Tag Team Title picture.  Can the Rose Warriors do it again and shock the system by earning a Women’s Tag Team title shot?
-Or… will Harley Davisson and Carrieanne McDermott take care of business tonight?

#1 CONTENDER’S MATCH-WOMEN’S DIVISION: #1 Yosemite Samantha vs. #2 Shizuko Yamazaki

Rick Hall’s Preview:
-Like a whirlwind, Yosemite Samantha blew through the Women’s contenders last month to put herself in position for a title shot. She gave Victoria McGill everything she could handle before the Women’s Champion finally prevailed in a very entertaining match.  Now, Yosemite Samantha must get past Shizuko Yamazaki to earn another shot at Tori McGill.
-Shizuko Yamazaki is coming off an emphatic win over Lisa Barbosa-Stevens.  Now, Yamazaki has a chance to get herself another opportunity to regain the title from McGill.  Can she find a way to slow down the high-speed offense of Yosemite Samantha?
-Or…will Yosemite Samantha continue to blow away her competition and book herself another title opportunity.

MEN’S TAG TEAM TITLE: The Stevens Dynasty (Bo and George Stevens) © vs. The Kardoucheian Empire (Koley and Kourtney Kardoucheian)

Rick Hall’s Preview:
-The Stevens Dynasty and the Kardoucheian Empire are going to get well acquainted with each other in the next few weeks.  First, tonight’s showdown for the Men’s Tag Team Title.  Then on December 10th, The Stevens Dynasty and the Kardoucheian Empire will meet in the finals of the Carmondy Cup.  Lastly, the two teams will meet for the title at the St. Louis Supershow in January.
-Can The Stevens Dynasty stay focused on the job at hand- defending the belts tonight?
-Can The Kardoucheian Empire finally… FINALLY… break through and get their big title win?

MEN’S TITLE: ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson © vs. Ricky Stevens

Rick Hall’s Preview:
-Men’s Champion ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson will get a belly full of John O’Reilly in the next few weeks.  Dickinson faces O’Reilly in the finals of the Carmondy Cup, for the Men’s Title at Evening of Champions, and for the belt at the St. Louis Supershow… that is if he gets past the challenge of Ricky Stevens tonight.
-Ricky Stevens has quietly moved up through the Men’s Heartland Division and the Men’s Division.  Backed by the Stevens Dynasty, Stevens will come into tonight’s match with a lot of confidence.
-Can Stevens pull off the shock win and end Bill Dickinson’s second title reign?
-Can Dickinson give Stevens his full attention tonight with the Men’s title in the balance?

ROSE WARRIORS INTERVIEW
Kellie Burkowski is backstage with Geena the Warrior Princess and Eliza Rose.

Rose Warrior Comments:
-Geena tells Kellie they won’t get caught up in a war of words with their opponents.  The Rose Warriors have a job to do tonight and that’s to find a way past one of the best tag teams in MVW history.
-Eliza Rose agrees with Geena.  The Rose Warriors will do what they always do- go out and give their best effort and then see where the chips fall.

MISSOURI VALLEY FIGHT CLUB PROMO
Harley Davisson, Carrieanne McDermott, and their manager Molly Hatchett are backstage.

Molly Hatchett Comments:
-The MVFC has nothing personal against the Rose Warriors.  It’s just with every passing day, the Missouri Valley Fight Club’s drive to win back the titles grows. Geena and Eliza- the MVFC hopes you’re listening because in just a few minutes an unstoppable train’s coming down the tracks and their name is Harley Davisson and Carrieanne McDermott.
-The Missouri Valley Fight Club are on the way to becoming the best tag team in MVW history and they will prove that when they become five-time Women’s Tag Team Champions.

Back to Thunderbolt… it’s time for our first commercial break.

KARDOUCHEIAN EMPIRE PROMO
-The patriarch of the Kardoucheian family- Khris Kardoucheian- stands inside the Kardoucheian’s Hollywood-style dressing trailer located outside the arena.  He’s flanked by his sons: Ken, Koley, and Kourtney.

Khris Kardoucheian’s Comments:
-He complains again that MVW refuses to treat his sons with the utmost respect Hollywood stars who have millions of fans all over the world deserve.
-This should be a no-brainer.  The Kardoucheian Empire deserve to the Men’s Tag Team Champions.  They are stars.  The Stevens Dynasty are not.  The Stevens Dynasty do not have millions of fans all over the world who love them.  The Stevens Dynasty are not Hollywood stars.  They are just… wrestlers.
-It’s long overdue that MVW does the right thing.  The right thing is The Kardoucheian Empire- MVW Men’s Tag Team Champions.

STEVENS DYNASTY INTERVIEW
-Kellie Burkowski has Stevens Dynasty Patriarch Cary Stevens with her backstage.  Also with Cary: Bo, George, Scott, and Ricky Stevens.

Cary Stevens Comments:
-The Kardoucheians are prima donna pretty boys who think they’re pro wrestlers.  Bo and George Stevens are pro wrestlers.  They won the title in the ring.  It’s up to the Kardoucheians to do the same.  It’s up to the Kardoucheians to prove that they have what it takes to win the Men’s Tag Team title.  It’s up to the Kardoucheians to pin Bo or George… one… two… three… to take the titles from the Stevens Dynasty.  But they won’t.  Why?  The fact of the matter is Bo and George continue to be the best tag team in MVW.  Period.

“Morning” by Francis and the Lights brings out Khris Kardoucheian, followed by Koley, Kourtney, and Ken Kardoucheian.

The video screen flashes through several scenes from the Kardoucheian’s reality show ‘Krampin’ Up with the Kardoucheians.’

The Kardoucheians ham it up on the stage and pose for the fans- to a middling reaction.  Some boos.  Some cheers.  The rest… indifference.

Khris leads them down the ramp to the ring.

Then…

Cary leads the group down the ramp to the ring where Heather Cooper awaits.

Thunderbolt steps in at this point.  We’ll have the in-ring introductions after these commercial messages but first…

BACK TO THE ‘CHRISTOPHER AMERICA’ BOOTH
The line continues to cycle through as people pay $10 to bask in the greatness of a mannequin dressed like Christopher America.  How do they show their appreciation?
-one man throws an egg at ‘America’s’ face and it covers it with yolk.
-another one walks up to ‘America’ and smashes a pie into his face.
-and last, but not least, a man walks up to the mannequin holding a bowling ball.  Without hesitation, he rears back and drives the bowling ball right into the balls causing the mannequin to literally break in half.

But that’s okay… the mannequin is quickly replaced with another and the tribute to Christopher America continues.  Time for commercial break.

Ron Martin counts and Koley steps back. He goes to whip Bo- Bo reverses.  Koley tries a dropkick but Bo steps to the side.  Koley shoots the leg and takes Bo down.  He kicks and stomps Bo and throws him to the corner.  Koley tags in Kourtney and the Kardoucheians mug Bo with big haymakers from all sides!  George lumbers int the ring and clobbers Koley from behind.  George lets out a roar and nearly drives ALL the air out of Kourtney’s lungs with a nasty right hand to the gut.  Martin starts a count on the non-legal people in the ring and then we’re back to Bo and Kourtney.  Bo pulls him up and whips him to the corner.  Bo charges in and slams into Kourtney.  High angle back suplex by Kourtney.  Cover… 1… 2… kick out by Bo Stevens.   Bodyslam by Kourtney and then he covers again… 1… 2… No.  Kick out by Bo.  Koley back in and the Karoucheians hook up Bo… DOUBLE SUPLEX!  Cary Stevens screams at the referee over the double team.  George Stevens nearly comes in again.  Bo gets hip tossed by Kourtney who then decides to take a moment to play to the crowd. WINNER VIA DQ: The Kardoucheian Empire- The Stevens Dynasty remain the MVW Men’s Tag Team Champions

Here come Kourtney- GEORGE STEVENS INTERCEPTS… *KA-BOOM* TEXAS-SIZED SLAM TO KOURTNEY.

Here comes Ken Kardoucheian.  SCOTT STEVENS INTERCEPTS… BOOT TO THE GUT… TOXIC STING!

And Khris Kardoucheian is livid!  He yells at Cary Stevens across the ring as all three of his sons are getting beaten down by George and Scott Stevens.

Cary just flips him off and claps his hands in approval.

MVW Security sprint down the ramp to quell the hostilities.

Rick Hall Comments:
-The Stevens Dynasty seemed sluggish tonight and The Kardoucheians wrestled their best match ever in MVW.  They fully deserved the win.  The Stevens Dynasty were disqualified for outside interference and that handed the win to the Kardoucheian Empire- but The Stevens Dynasty retain the Tag Title.
– Khris Kardoucheian has a legitimate argument.  His sons should be the new MVW Men’s Tag Team Champions.

BACK TO THE ‘CHRISTOPHER AMERICA’ BOOTH
As the line continues to move through, Kellie Burkowski is on the scene and witnesses:
-a man throwing a dart that sticks out of ‘America’s’ forehead.
-a woman throwing a water balloon that soaks the mannequin.
-a man walking up to give ‘America’ a nougie.

Kellie is about to interview someone who’s about to tar and feather ‘America’ when suddenly someone jumps the table and tackles the mannequin.  Once the hat comes off the man, it’s clear who he is…

Kellie Burkowski: THAT’S SCOTT STEVENS!

Scott Stevens- MVW Pix

-Stevens literally tears the mannequin apart before MVW Security runs down to restore order so the mannequin can be replaced for the guy who wants to tar and feather ‘America.’

And with that, time for our final commercial break.

(REPLAY- Last week’s Wrestling Night in the Heartland)

Dickinson’s Comments:
-No offense to Bob Murray, but Dickinson’s on a mission right now and that’s to ‘do the double.’
-When Kellie asks what that is, Dickinson says it means he’s going to win the Carmondy Cup and retain the Men’s Title against John O’Reilly at Evening of Champions.

That brings out the Stevens Dynasty led by Family Patriarch Cary Stevens… then ‘The Demi-God of HOW’ Scott Stevens, Men’s Tag Team Champions Bo and George Stevens, and Dickinson’s challenger next week- Ricky Stevens.

Cary Stevens’s Comments:
-Cary asks Dickinson if he’s forgetting something… like the title defense next week in Peoria, Illinois against his son Ricky Stevens?

Dickinson smiles and we have ourselves a stare down

WINNER: ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson

Rick Hall’s Comments:
-No shenanigans in this match.  The Stevens Dynasty thought about it but with the Alabama Gang at ringside they did not try to interfere in the match.
-Ricky Stevens didn’t back down from ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson at all.  Unfortunately, Dickinson looked very good tonight as he cruised to the win to remain the Men’s Champion.

Evening of Champions is less than three weeks away.
