Last night at High Octane Wrestling’s Chaos 4 show, Missouri Valley Wrestling owner Ray McAvay confirmed via a split screen segment with Blaire Moise that MVW Men’s Champion Adam Ellis will indeed put his title on the line against Darin Zion at the upcoming HOW pay per view show Dead or Alive.
This match came about after Ellis and a few MVW wrestlers came to the aid of Joe Bergman after a HOW tag team title match involving Zion last week on HOW’s Chaos 3 show. Bergman and Zion had just lost to the champions The Highwaymen (Clay Byrd/Steve Harrison)- a group that Bergman belongs to coincidentally- and Zion attacked Joe after the match.
McAvay told Blaire he was inclined not to agree to the match at first. But he relented because Adam Ellis really wanted this match after some of the things Zion- a former MVW Men’s Champion- had to say last week after Chaos 3.
Ellis is also a former HOW Tag Team champion. He teamed up with John Sektor earlier this year to win the belts at High Octane Wrestling’s March to Glory.
