Missouri Valley Wrestling Rankings as of September 5th:

MEN’S SINGLES
MVW Champion: ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson (The Alabama Gang)

#1 Contender: John O’Reilly (Dark Overlords)
Contenders

2. Captain Jack
3. Ricky Stevens (Stevens Dynasty)
4. J.J. Bittinger

Ricky Stevens defeated J.J. Bittinger in a #3 vs. #4 match on Friday night.  Saturday night Captain Jack knocked off Stevens to hold on to his #2 ranking.  That sets up Captain Jack versus John O’Reilly next Tuesday in a #1 contender’s match at MVW’s Cedar Rapids, Iowa house show.

J.J. Bittinger will face either Scott Stevens or ‘Big Don’ Dickinson in Normal, Illinois on September 17th.

Heartland Champion: ‘Big Don’ Dickinson (The Alabama Gang)
#1 Contender:
‘The Demi-God of HOW’ Scott Stevens (Stevens Dynasty)
Contenders

#2- Ken Kardoucheian (Kardoucheian Empire)
#3- ‘Rock Star’ Robbie Marrs
#4- Average Joe (Main Street USA)
#5- Stan (Beer Bellied Softball Playing Ninja)

Big week for Ken Kardoucheian moving up from #5 all the way to #2 with wins over Stan, Average Joe, and ‘Rock Star’ Robbie Marrs who all slip back one spot in the rankings.  Scott Stevens ended Kardoucheian’s run and he will go on to face Men’s Heartland Champion ‘Big Don’ Dickinson next Tuesday night.

Non Division:
‘The New Age Cybertronic Criminally Insane Rogue Sentient Robot Wrestling Machine’ Ultratron-6.1
“Bergman’s Barn Men’s Champion” Cale McPherson
Corey Beckett
Buckshot Henderson

Bergman’s Barn champion Cale McPherson upset Buckshot Henderson to become the first Bergman’s Barn champion to win a regular MVW match.

Ultratron-6.1 returned to MVW and picked up wins over Corey Beckett and McPherson to set himself up for a Saturday showdown against Stan for the #5 ranking in the Men’s Heartland Division.

MEN’S TAG TEAM
Tag Team Champions: The Stevens Dynasty (Bo and George Stevens)
#1 Contender-

5. Beer Bellied Softball Playin’ Ninja (Tiny and Hank)

The Dark Overlords move off the bottom of the Men’s Tag Team Top 5 contender rankings after defeating the Beer Bellied Softball Playin’ Ninja.  But the D.O.W. came up short against the Kardoucheian Empire in the #3 vs. #4 match.  The Kardoucheians lose the #2 vs. #3 match against Main Street USA so the net result is only one change in the top five from last week.
