OPENING
Thunderbolt welcomes everyone to tonight’s edition of Wrestling Night in the Heartland- live from the SIU Arena in Carbondale, Illinois.

No title matches tonight.  But two #1 contender’s matches.
-‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson defends the MVW Men’s Title two weeks from tonight in Chicago, Illinois against the winner of Captain Jack and John O’Reilly.
-The Stevens Dynasty will also find out who their opponents will be in Chicago.  Will it be the Kentucky Redneck Mafia?  Or will it be The Alabama Gang?

‘Long Haul’ Rick Hall runs down tonight’s matches.

#2 vs. #3 MATCH-WOMEN’S TAG TEAM: #2 The Hanson Sisters (Andrea and Melissa) vs. #3 The Working Girls (C.J. Lewis/’Queen Cool’ Leah Iris)

Rick Hall’s Preview:
-The Hansons and The Working Girls have been dueling it out for the #2 contender ranking for the past few weeks.
-Lewis and Iris have caught a gust of wind that’s propelled them back into the Women’s Tag Team rankings.  The former tag team champions would like nothing more than to climb back into title contention.
-The Hansons also have faced some adversity and nearly fell out of the rankings. But they’ve righted the ship and look to take another shot at getting past the Missouri Valley Fight Club for a title shot against Jill Berg Enterprises.

#1 CONTENDER’S MATCH-MEN’S TAG TEAM: #1 The Kentucky Redneck Mafia (Cletus T. Johnson/Enos T. Johnson) vs. #2 The Alabama Gang (Mark Hendry/R.G. Jenkins)

Rick Hall’s Preview:
-The Alabama Gang are for real and they are one step away from getting their hands on The Stevens Dynasty.  Hendry and Jenkins want to take their revenge on the Stevens costing them a promotion/relegation match a few weeks ago.
-Cletus and Enos have adjusted to their new valet Lillie Mae aka… The Girl in Every Country Song.  They gave the Stevens Dynasty everything they could handle at the Heartland PPV and now must defeat the hottest tag team in MVW right now.

#1 CONTENDER’S MATCH-MEN’S DIVISION: #1 Captain Jack vs. #2 John O’Reilly

Rick Hall’s Preview:
-Captain Jack swashbuckled all the way up the Men’s Division and took his shot at Men’s Champion ‘Redneck’ Bill Dickinson at Heartland only to get smacked down decisively.  Now, he faces the man he supplanted as the #1 contender several weeks back with a title shot against Dickinson on the line.
-O’Reilly suffered quite the hangover after Adam Ellis relieved him of the title in May by June found himself in danger of dropping out of the Men’s Division.  He’s turned it around since and moved his way back up the rankings.  A win tonight would give O’Reilly another shot at Bill Dickinson.

MAIN EVENT/NON-TITLE: Women’s Champion: Victoria McGill vs. Yosemite Samantha

Rick Hall’s Preview:
-Coming off a huge win against Debbie the Destroyer last week, Yosemite Samantha’s confidence is running high as she gets a chance to see what she can do against the Women’s Champion Victoria McGill.
-McGill has been training at Joe Bergman’s Barn- a happy byproduct of her ongoing relationship with Bergman- and looking as good inside the ring as ever.  Tori’s riding high following her demolition of Lisa Barbosa-Stevens at Heartland and she looks to continue the good times.

THE WORKING GIRLS INTERVIEW
We cut to Kellie Burkowski backstage with C.J. Lewis and ‘Queen Cool’ Leah Iris

Leah Iris Comments:
-Responding to Kellie’s question about her husband ‘Rock Star’ Robbie Marrs and his involvement in the World Series of Wrestling, Leah says she’s proud of her husband and is rooting for him to do well.
-Leah admits tonight is a big night.  A win and they get a #1 contender’s match.  Lots on the line.  She feels C.J. and her are ready.

-Dickinson recognizes O’Reilly is a former Men’s Champion and the very mention of his right hand strikes fear in the hearts of ordinary men.
-But… he reminds everyone that Bill Dickinson is anything but ordinary.  He is the personification of the term- “The 330 Pound Southern Brawler.”  In two weeks, John O’Reilly will find out why.
